Street Style Icon: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

{uptown polished}

After admiring her street style and editorial work for years in the pages of Vogue, I was thrilled (and I admit, slightly relieved) to find out that not only is British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stunningly gorgeous from head to toe, she’s also an actress!  Replacing “guy-hot” Queen Bee Megan Fox in the newest Transformers movie may seem like a daunting task, but RHW could not have fulfilled fan expectations any better.  Although the film was FAR too action-packed for me (an hour’s worth of battling alien/robot/car/action figure thingys?  no thanks…), I did enjoy seeing RHW on the big screen, giving herself outstanding credibility in the dog-eat-dog world of the silver screen.  Remembering her infamous Victoria’s Secret work and her Burberry campaign, I was inspired to throw together some of my favorite model-off-duty street style shots of Rosie.  There are sososososo many great outfits, (honestly, everything she puts together looks flawless!) but I’ve narrowed it down to a few standouts.  RHW’s style encompasses a love of hats, jeans, leather pants, fur throws, a mixture of ballet flats and elegant heels, and of course those signature blonde waves.  Enjoy, and once again, Bravo Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!
