Last week, the roommie and I decided to pack up a little picnic (we are such pro salad makers), and head to Prospect Park to watch the sun set over the cityscape.  The weather was absolutely perfect- warm enough to lay in the shade and read for a while, then cool enough to cozy up in my sweatshirt after the sun tucked itself away behind the buildings.  Prospect Park is one of my favorite places to admire the evening sky; The already gorgeous statehouse just illuminates under the glow of the setting sun.  These impromptu picnics in the park are something I’ll really miss when the weather gets colder…I’m so glad I decided to bring my camera along to preserve this truly breathtaking view.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love Providence!
