Harrods is hands-down the world’s most magical department store.  So it comes as no surprise that the magnificent Lodon-dwelling building would host such an elegant group of holiday guests in its windows this December.  Always thinking of creative ways to trim up the store for the Christmas season, this year Harrods invited 1o top designers to create looks inspired by the leading ladies of Disney.  Designer gowns-Disney style?  Yes please!  Each dress occupies its own princess-themed window display, taking window shopping to an entirely new level.

Aside from the obvious genius in this idea (what girl doesn’t want to see her childhood heros dressed exclusively by her grown-up idols?  win-win!), some of the pairings cross that barrier into actual indisputable perfection.  I mean come on, Escada for Jasmine and Machesa for Ariel…match made in in Designer Disney Heaven, no?  All of the dresses are stunning, but I’d have to say my favorite looks are the Elie Saab for Sleeping Beauty and Oscar de la Renta for Snow White.  So enchanting…
