Work has been cancelled, the roads are shut down, the shelves of Whole Foods and Stop & Shop are eerily empty and the children of Providence are still snuggled up in their inside-out jammies.  Okay, you caught me, mine are inside-out too.  And it worked.  Your welcome.  All of this can only mean one thing:  SNOW DAY!

Nemo has granted us all a free pass- one day off from responsibilities and life in the outside world.  Movies, vanilla chai, and popcorn should fill these voids quite nicely.  If you need me, I’ll be on my couch, hidden under a giant quilt with my heating pad and a magazine.

PS- I took this photo (below) of Providence last night at sunset…I like to think of it as the calm before the storm.  Happy Blizzard New Englanders!
