It was a very girly-girl weekend here in Providence.  Our friend, Emilee, was in town from NYC for a few days, and boy did we take advantage!  We made a trip to Newport to check out the nightlife, brunched at The Beehive in Bristol (one of my all-time FAVORITES) as well as The Grange on Providence’s west end (next time we’re going back for those make-your-own mimosas!), spent Sunday afternoon picking apples at Sweet berry Farm in Middletown, then capped off the weekend with a picnic in Prospect Park.  Emilee is quickly becoming one of our favorite guests to host; She always knows how to make us laugh until we’re crying, and having a fun-loving, non-New-Englander friend in tow creates the perfect opportunity to indulge in those lovely seasonal activities we may have otherwise overlooked.  Rhode Island is home to some wonderful hidden gems.  Staycations are underrated.  Stay tuned for more…
